Cancer, one of the biggest problems the world faces, it affects everyone. 39 percent of the population will at one point in their lives, receive a cancer diagnosis. Many peoples loved ones will be affected in ways we cannot begin to describe, it can be one of the scariest moments in their lives.

Therefore, PBLX has joined forces with, the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation and the American Cancer Society Relay for Life Team in their fight against cancer. PBLX make charitable contributions and together with PDFA and ACSRT host an array of fundraises events in local communities. These fundraisers and contributions are essential to help fund research to improve the care, quality of life and survival rate.

 

 

Together we can stand against cancer, and together we will defeat cancer. So that one day, this world will be cancer free and everyone can live out their lives.

  1. Be physically active, or exercise often. Studies show that physical may help reduce your cancer risk. It also helps keep your weight under control, which may also lower your risk.
  2. Have a healthy diet. Studies connect a diet rich in vegetables, fruits, fish, poultry, and low-fat dairy products can reduce the risk of cancer. A healthy diet also helps you stay at a healthy weight and have the necessary energy to take on the day.
  3. If you drink alcohol, limit how much you drink. Research has shown that individuals who have 2 or more alcoholic drinks daily have a higher risk of cancer than those who drink only 1 drink a day or not at all.
